Workshop with Alixandra Fazzina

15-16 July 2017

We invite photography enthusiasts, along with novice & intermediate photographers to this two-day workshop with award-winning photographer Alixandra Fazzina. During the workshop participants will learn, discuss and work with Alixandra to explore why a photographic portfolio is important, what kinds of portfolios can be developed for which purposes and how to edit and select their images for portfolio presentations. Participants will learn how to edit themed portfolios, make portfolios for project proposals and write accompanying texts. These skills can be used in developing a website and professional presentations, submitting grant applications and pitching for clients, publications and collaborations.

Participants are asked to bring a selection of images and/or stories to be further developed in entirely new portfolio that is ready to be pitched. During this workshop participants will also work on quick shooting assignment in Amsterdam on the theme ‘Together’. Participants will leave the workshop with the knowledge of how to create their own beautiful portfolios for different purposes.
