The December 26 tsunami which devastated Southeast Asia, hit the Banda Aceh province in Indonesia the hardest. Over 100,000 were left dead at the earthquake’s epicenter.

These images of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) aid efforts were taken in January 2005 along the west coast of the Banda Aceh province in Indonesia where MSF is assisting in three wards at the local hospital as well as running mobile clinics throughout the region, bringing essential medical care to the tsunami survivors.
