NOOR initiates and produces projects with the aim to raise awareness about specific social issues we care about, to educate or to brand our work. To realize projects, we seek the collaboration of sponsor partners, NGO’s and foundations, and the financial support of grants and subsidies. Nikon is one of the leading companies in the world for photographic products and imaging solutions. Nikon sponsors NOOR as official digital photographic equipment provider. The partnership has seen Nikon Europe BV supply the member photographers with an expansive range of professional digital camera equipment, as well as film scanners.

Nikon supplied NOOR with grants to realize its Climate Change by NOOR group project in 2009 and 2010 and the Brazil by NOOR group project in 2011 and 2012, and makes the NOOR Foundation's annual NOOR-Nikon Masterclasses in Documentary Photography project a reality (Lagos 2009, Saint Petersburg 2010, Bucharest 2011, Cape Town 2012 and Tunis 2013).

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international humanitarian aid organization that provides emergency medical assistance to populations in danger in more than 60 countries. Since the 1980's, MSF has been responding to health issues related to living conditions in over populated urban settlements in the developing world.
MSF partnered with NOOR to launch an awareness campaign on over population and living conditions in urban settlements: Urban Survivors.
Storyplanet is an online toolbox that makes it easy for photographers, journalists, designers and other creatives to build and publish engaging multimedia stories.
Storyplanet and NOOR are partnering because Storyplanet shares the mission of constantly evolving visual storytelling to make a change in the world. Storyplanet is providing a platform for NOOR to build a new generation of visual stories in a much faster and cheaper way than previously possible.
Greenpeace is an independent global campaigning organization that acts to change attitudes and behavior, to protect and conserve the environment and to promote peace.
Greenpeace International, as well as the Danish, Dutch and Mediterranean Greenpeace offices, supported various (online) presentations of the Climate Change by NOOR projects, including street exhibitions in Amsterdam and Istanbul.
Contemporary Image Collective (CIC) is an independent non-profit art initiative founded in Cairo in 2004. CIC’s mission spans contemporary art and educational programming that responds to and develops artistic practice, engagement, and discourse. Established by a group of artists and photographers who today make up its Board of Trustees, CIC has a special interest in the roles of the photographic image at large.
CIC partners with the NOOR Foundation in the Visual Storytelling in an Open Society program; a sustained training and mentorship opportunity for documentary photographers and photojournalists in Egypt.
The DOEN Foundation promotes sustainable, cultural and social pioneers. In collaboration with the local Egyptian organizations ItF and CIC, the DOEN Foundation generously supported NOOR's Framing the Future workshop and conference in Cairo, Egypt, in May 2011.
