The US presidential election, held in November across the country, was the most expensive campaign in American history. Surrounded by an atmosphere of general distrust and dissatisfaction it was one of the biggest political events of 2012, drawing the attention of the media all around the world.
NOOR photographers Andrea Bruce, Stanley Greene and Jon Lowenstein were on the ground of three different key states to give us their personal vision of the event that could possibly change the future of their country. From Chicago’s south and west sides to the battleground state of Virginia, passing through the deeply divided cities of one of the most important electoral states: Ohio.
