Luc Forsyth is a freelance photojournalist and writer currently based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Focusing primarily on humanitarian and environmental issues, Luc uses imagery and text to highlight the complex relationships between politics, culture, and the environment and the conflicts that arise when these forces clash. He is currently working on a year long project documenting the consequences of rapid development and industrialization of the Mekong river through Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and China.


Luc’s photography and writing has been featured in The New York Times, Al Jazeera, TIME, and the Virginia Quarterly Review, among others and he works closely with humanitarian agencies such as the United Nation Population Fund, Handicap International, and the Gapminder Foundation.
