Over the last decades, war on drugs has resulted in vast amounts of time, resources and blood spent in pursuing the goal of a “drug free” world. In their long-term project, Sebastián Liste, Kadir van Lohuizen and Jon Lowenstein have been exploring the ongoing violence fueled by drug cartels and gang wars and impact of drug consumption in Latin America.

Between 1993 and 2008 Stanley Greene covered the ongoing conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh region. His photographic project ‘Chalk Lines: The Caucasus’ is a striking testimony of the profound human catastrophe playing out in the Caucasus region.

Fueled by poverty and corruption, exacerbated by religious dogma, Romania is loosing a generation of adolescent girls to the slave trade. Christina, an underage prostitute, lives in a small village outside of Bucharest with her mother who helps her prepare for her nights on the streets. Christina has recently disappeared.
