Exhibition: Food for Thought
Museum Hilversum, the Netherlands
15 February – 13 April 2025
The Netherlands is the world’s second-largest food exporter, and its agricultural landscape is shaped by technological innovation, efficiency, and large-scale production. Kadir’s work explores where our food is produced, how it travels around the world, and the impact these processes have on the planet. His journey spans the Netherlands, Kenya, the United States, the UAE, and China, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the vast systems that sustain our global consumption.
How sustainable is this global food chain? What are the consequences of large-scale food production? Kadir’s photography and filmmaking provoke essential questions.
Experience this award-winning series at Museum Hilversum and dive into the thought-provoking world of global food production through Kadir’s powerful visual storytelling.
